Luca Partners is a proud supporter of the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising funds for research into new treatments and cures for children battling cancer. The foundation also strives to raise awareness and to encourage and empower others, especially children, to get involved and make a difference for children with cancer.

Our firm recognizes the importance of being involved in the local community and proudly supports The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill. The mission of the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill is to provide a “home-away-from-home” for families of seriously ill or injured children who must travel from across North Carolina and beyond for specialized medical care at area hospitals. Families staying at the House not only enjoy amenities like those found in their own home, but also the support of other families experiencing similar struggles.

The MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) Fund for Prematurity at UNC Hospitals is a cause close to our hearts here at Luca and was established by our team member Mike and his wife Holly after losing their identical twin daughters, Lucy and Libby, in 2019 due to preterm birth. Though devastated by their loss, Mike and Holly were incredibly moved by the work being done at UNC and wanted to help support it, while also creating a legacy for their daughters. Donations made to the MFM Fund for Prematurity go toward prematurity research led by Dr. Tracy Manuck, who is the Medical Director of the Prematurity Prevention Program at UNC and the physician who delivered Lucy and Libby. Additionally, funds are used to provide financial support to families facing the unimaginable challenge of having their children in the Newborn Critical Care Center at UNC.
